Default OOPS Exhaust question.

Can somebody tell me if the Exhaust clamp is welded onto the muffler? IU stripped the bolt trying to remove it. Can i just cut it off and buy a new one?

Yes, it is. You can see the tack welds in your second picture. I cut mine off and replaced it.

Use an angle grinder and a cut off wheel. But use it parallel to the exhaust pipe, not perpendicular. You should be able to cut the weld only.
