Are our doors tied to our VIN #?

I would be interested in knowing this little fact. I am hearing yes by my dealer, and no's from 2 body shops...

I just went outside and looked and my doors have stickers on them with my VIN printed on it.

Why? You could always peel the sticker off, and unless you're trying to sell some that are stolen, it's not like the person buying them would care if they match his VIN.

Yeah, thats true... this is actually a question for a paint problem from the plant. I will post a thread in a few days.
