out for a quarantine drive and misfires -check engine light - - scan provides p-303 - i change plugs and wires - out of the box the gap was .050 - still misfiring - any advice is welcome.... thanks -

ok so i checked
3.8 v 6 is .050

Let's just start here as others will most likely start to chime in with some good info here. What type of plugs and wires. The recommendation is Mopar wires but good things have been said about NTK and Champion Double Platinum .050 gap plugs. The next step I would take is the coil pack but hopefully someone has something more than parts roulette to suggest right now. 303 is a misfire in #3 right?

thanks champion and advanced brand wires - totally forgot to change coil pack - 10 mins $50 more at shop and varoom !!!!! thanks - happy wheeling....

Just to add to the information listed here. Could you list the brand coil pack you purchased? Most people purchase OEM Wires, plugs and Coil Packs since they can lead to errors with codes. It's good to know which ones are working correctly. Glad it's solved. Replace the PVC valve for $10 if you ever are replacing the coil pack. It's right there.
