P2099 - Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich Bank 2
While I was out this weekend, the CEL illuminated and P2099 was the stored code. No other DTC's.
17,300 miles.
We did a 14 mile run in hot weather (75-95 degrees) and high elevation (6,000 feet) and the CEL didn't illuminate until we got back down to the bottom.
I didn't clear the code, and the CEL continues to stay lit after subsequent starts (at least 3, now).
Any ideas?
I hate, hate, HATE taking the Jeep to the dealer. It's under warranty and I wish something would actually go wrong, between this CEL and the darn ticking head that hasn't set a misfire code yet. The dealer will probably reset the code and tell me to come back when it happens again (rinse, repeat)- a huge waste of time.
