anyone know where I can look for the paint code, or know the code for red rock?

As soon as you open your drivers door you should see it, just a sticker stuck to the inside of the B Pillar, paint code should be on there.

 

im pretty sure I have seen that sticker you speak of, even looked there for the code, but if i remember correctly, it doesn't say ***PAINT CODE*** before listing the number. can someone explain the format...letters, numbers, how many digits it might be, kind of narrow it down a little.

 

Door jam on my '08 Red Rock says: "Paint: PEM"

 

well I am pretty sure I did not see that, BUT, now that I know what I am looking for I will go back and look again. oh, mine is an '07, im not sure if anything has changed from '07 to '08

 

It's pretty obvious. The descriptor says "Paint" right below the VIN.

It's either one letter and two numbers or two letters and one number.

thanks guys. the sticker that i said I couldn't find the code on was the top one on the door, with the tire info on it, i guess i didn't realize there was another one under that.
