Default Painted Hard tops

Hello all, I apologize if this is in the wrong area. I have a Tank colored Jeep and am thinking of painting the hard top tan or "spice", anyone done this? Have pics? Also I know there are programs/apps out there that will do this for you but I am not very tech savy, any suggestions?
Thanks.

Can't help with the tech aspect or providing pictures, but I can give you my Friday morning opinion which is currently valued at 2c ......I think it would look pretty good if you're in to trying to be a bit different. To me, color matched tops are just a bit much on a jeep. I personally like the black top, and precisely because it doesn't match the body. I think the tan would be a nice compliment to your color. That said, for the price to paint it nicely, I'd rather put that money towards something else. Painted tops are just one more thing to wash/wax/polish and worry about scratching

When I look at all the scratches on my basic black hard top, I wonder how much it drives people crazy to have the painted ones.

The black hard top paint from Quadratec works pretty good if you have anything deep enough to show the white underneath. It's perfect match and more of a lacquer than basic rattle can. Just FYI....if ever bothers you enough.

This is rhino with the tan top, I imagine yours would look just as sharp.

Thanks for all the replies. Jscherb, I was following you when you made that top, that's what gave me the idea. Karl, I like it.
