Painting inside hardtop
hey who has painted there hardtop black on the inside? I was just curious who has and could offer some insight. what paint did you use? what was done to prep it? and let see pictures!
I think there were some posts about this when I was researching making custom insulation for the hardtops. There were several people that had pics of of ones that were painted and bedlined, all of them looked pretty good.
I painted mine black inside last fall before putting the hard top back on for the winter; huge improvement over the white. Used the instructions in the below link and I'm very happy how it turned out. Have had no problems with the glued carpet coming loose, even tried pulling on it and it would not budge. Think I spent a total of $75 between the paint, carpet, and glue.
