Default Part # ??

Im trying to find the part # for those small clips that hold the dash panels in place. I installed the daystar upper dash thingy and i lost one of those clips. Anyone have a link or something?

p.s. I hate my dealer and do not want to order the part from him.

You can try this thread it has a link to a manual with all jeep JK parts. Might be 07 only though.

I think I have a spare one if you want to send me your address in a PM. Is it the little copper looking retainer clip?

Default Clips

I am glad I was not the only one who lost those little copper clips!!! I went to the dealer and they said that I would have to by the upper dash pannel to get the clips. I told them no thanks. He then checked with his body shop and give me 3 clips for the lower dash pannel which did not work at first. The clip were to short to clamp to the dash so I took the paper stick you get from a totsiepop and cut it the same lenght as the clip and installed it where the clip attaches to the Daystar pannel. This inturn lengthen the clips enough to let the clips on the pannel attach to the dash .

The clips are basically all chrysler style clips... they use these clips on all the interior molding like on the doors to hold the wooden panels to the main door panel... Local junkyard has them.
