Did search couldn't find needed information. Replacing actuator in 2018 JK passenger door. Have inner door panel loose started out, actuator loose from door jamb, but seems actuator is still attached to door handle mechanism or something .Is there tabs on the inner door panel that have to be unhooked also to separate plastic bracket from panel and actuator? Can't find any picture/video of inner area and can't see in there good enough without maybe breaking something REALIZE I POSTED IN WRONG SECTION. Moderator will have to change.

 

yeah, those door panels can be tricky. take your time and be patient.

 

Thanks still trying to figure out how the panel with actuator is connected to the door latch assembly and disconnects.. Trying to search for some diagram or write up

 

Guess no body on here has replaced a door lock actuator
