Default Passenger Side Leak 2012 JK

Had a nasty storm today while my soft 2012 JK was sitting in the driveway. Headed for the store and looked down to see some water on my rubber floor mat. Got home and investigated to find the carpet was damp running along the door frame. Just wondering if any of you have had the same issue and what it might be and what route I should take to fix it. Just worry about damp carpet and mildew/mold as I have a fan on it at the moment..

Mine had the same leak when I first put the soft top on in October. Couldn't figure out where it was getting in so I took it to the dealer and they fixed it.

Had a small leak on that side w the hard top. Switched to the soft and no problems so far..call your dealer they usually have water leak specialists in there once a week. Good luck

Found this info on another forum.

Might be helpful to get educated before taking to the dealer.

My 2011 is at the dealer for the second time as we speak. The so called leak expert is looking at it.

Dealer replaced the passenger side door seal under warranty and my leak went away. I think the '11 and '12 have the same door/top/seal setup.

If your passenger is leaking maybe they need a diaper...

Mine went to the dealer 6 times for this issue. Finally fixed it. Chrysler just released a new technique to water test which is finally what did the trick on solving it. Be persistent. They'll eventually get it.
