Default Passenger Side Wiring Issue

I was replacing dash speakers in my 13 wrangler sahara 2 door. When I had the speaker pod back in place and was putting back on the side panel and glove box, I notices a wire that i dont remember seeing before. comes from the side of the hood, and into the door jamb. It is one wire with a plastic cover over it. My question is: Is this the way it was before, or should it be tucked in somewhere? I am guessing this is not correct, as there are no indention in the side panel for it. Doesnt seem to be pinching the wire at this point, but dont remember seeing it like this. it goes along the back of the glove box and then in behind the center console area as far as i can tell. Can someone show me how it should look? The first picture gives you a reference. The second picture is closer.
