Pentastar
Tits. The Pentajesus is tits.
With 2k miles, this thing has only gotten better. Top end and bottom end is VASTLY better than any of my past five 3.8 automatic JKUs.
The 3.8 can best be described as the retard slack-jawed bastard stepchild of the Pentastar.
Picture it this way- My Pentastar has more passing power towing my 3300LB boat than my past 3.8s WITHOUT something in-tow!
Anyone who regards the Pentastar as anything less is either jealous, or never goes over 15 MPH.

DudeManBro,
What size tires are you running to get 13mpg?

It might be too early to judge w/ just over 550miles on my 2012 unlimited w/ 3.73 rear axle but i've been getting around 13mpg... mostly city driving short distances with tons of stop and go. Aside from the gas mileage, love the power, accelerates better than a lot of common cars do and the new auto trans is a huge improvement
just hit 1089 miles after a month of driving & compared to my 4.0 TJ & 3.7 KJ, it would smoke them both without hesitation, don't get me wrong both my other Jeeps served me very well on the trail & off but this thing is incredible once on the gas from a dead stop it just wants to move

Have any problems towing that boat? I am thinking about stepping into a 2012 JKU. But wasn't sure it could handle the towing of my boat. Very interested in what you have to say.
I'm loving it. Great response and will definately get out of it's own way. Check out this video. Not to shabby.
