I just don't get why every new JK owner braggs about the 3.6. Its an aluminum engine just like the Cadillac North Star Engine. It will leak when it will over heat.
The 3.8 is a proven engine.
On any 4 x 4 gearing both engines are not that good. I had the 3.8 on a grand caravan and it moved alot better.

Hp doesn't matter tq does. Thats why semis have 350-400 hp but 1500 tq. And as far as the 4.0l it made its power at 2000-3000 rpm not at 5000-6000 like our pentastar does. When I had my old tjs my rubi who easily roast em with 35's and if I launched it I could carry front passenger tire a foot off the ground for 30-40 feet. Never done that with my pentastar
