Default Picked it up!!! but already a problem??

Hey all, After much waiting I got my Rubi today. Of course I had to take it into some rough stuff

Anyway, When the left side (I think front wheel) unloads i.e. dropping into a small hole etc. It makes a horrible steel crunching sound. Sounds like a loose suspension piece... but i'm not sure. It doesn't happen when the suspension is compressed only when it unweights. Anyone have any ideas???

I read on here somewhere about a few people with the auto tranny rubbing the metal strap that holds on the rubber boot on the driveshaft... that it rubs on the auto tranny pan. Check that out. Don't have a fix for ya, but maybe that'll be the ussue. Other than that, no ideas rush to mind. good luck figuring it out and getting it fixed.

I looked into that but I have plenty of clearance. I think the boot strap issue is after a lift kit is installed.

My issue is something different. It sounds almost like a wrench in a metal tool box after you go over a speedbump! A quick LOUD metal banging noise. Seems to come from right at my feet from under the car???

So far no loose bolts or components have been found.

Looks like I may have to visit the dealer sooner than I thought.

Here is a TSB that sounds similar to what you are describing, but it says it is for the passenger side, so I don't know. Might be worth looking into.

TSB - Oil Canning, Popping, or Thumping-Like Sound From Front Passenger Area During Body Twist
