Unhappy Picture Request

Hello everyone,

I have been here for a while, however I am a reader more than a writer of the forum but now I need your help guys.

I have been in a long-term issue (8 months) with the dealer after my JK caught fire (long story) and every time I pick up my Jeep, there is something missing, misplaced, broken or something.

Now, I found that maybe something is missing in this area of the tranny but I'm not to sure. My doubt is because I see this area is too clean in compare with the other areas and especially where two screws were supposed to be just above the crossmember as you can see in the pictures.

Could you please take a picture of your JK´s and help me confirm if there is something missing or not. My Jeep is a 2009 Sahara 2 Door Automatic transmission.

Thanks in advance and sorry about my English but is not my mother language.

Regards from Mexico City.

Abraham

I did some searching around and that looks normal. Found this pic online in a guide on how to upgrade the cross member.

In your first pic through, below the crossmember, it looks like that top transmission skid plate bolt is missing. (cross member looks dented where it would go)

I think you're right, looks like a bolt goes there. (not in the red circles)

Yes you are right, there is a bolt missing in there. I need to change my crossmember, it is quite dented so the bolt doesn´t fits.
