Default Pledge on tinted windows?

I have heard a lot of people saying that they use Pledge furniture polish on their soft windows. I was wondering if it will hurt the windows if they are tinted.

We use it on the aircraft wind screens at work. Works great on windows and doesn't scratch at all.

why wouldn't you just use a Windex type product? Does Pledge buff out small scratches or something?

Pledge leaves a residue. I would think it would attract dirt a lot easier and need cleaned more often. Let me know how it works out.

Windex is amonia based. The amonia eats the glue that holds the tint on the window which is why you see bubbled tint jobs.

I've been using Eagle One 20/20 for as long as I can remember as it's a non-amonia based glass cleaner and it works great.

If you go to any auto parts store they sell many brands of window cleaner that is safe for tinted windows.
