Default Pod Switch Panel button is sticking

Anyone ever had an issue with one of their pod switch panels sticking? When I push in my hazard button the lights work fine, but I can’t get it to depress to turn the hazards off. I was wondering if there’s a safe spray I can use? I imagine wd-40 would fix it but long term the residue would attract more dirt and cause it to be gummy again. I’d rather not replace the whole pod for $50 but if I have to I guess I will.

You might give something like this a try before WD-40 ...

Contact cleaner is what the ground maintenance guys used on the control panel for the aircraft I used to fly as crew on in a past life ...

I had a similar problem with one of my Jeeps (2005TJ) and found that if I used a can of compressed gas that normally is used to clean Computer key boards or similar I could spray the gas between the switch and the dash and it cleaned out all of the "crap" that has accumulated. Worked great for me.

Thanks for the responses but I ended up having to buy a new one ($50). When I took the old one out there was some type of gummy material in that button so idk what the previous owner did to it but it was all gunked up.
