You've got the 3.6l, not the anemic 3.8l. My 3.8 just rolled 166,000 today and still running well.

Edited to add: LMBO I thought this was for 3.6 vs 3.8. So my info is irrelevant

I had lifters/rockers replaced on the drivers side head due to ticking at around 18,000 miles.
I also had a front main seal replaced around the same time.

64k miles on my 2011 JK Sport and not one issue so far. I replaced the break pads and rotors a few weeks ago and that's it!

I'm at 101,300 on my 2011 and its been the most reliable trouble free vehicle i've owned, which is impressive considering some of those miles were hard miles offroad. Other than oil changes, other fluid changes, brake pads, and other routine maintenance, I've done nothing. Only been to the dealer for an airbag recall. Hopeing to get another 100,000 miles out of the original engine.

I'm now at almost 163,000 on a stock 09 and it runs pretty much as it did new. I have been running a superchip tow tune for the last 80,000 miles with no issues as well. I burn a little bit of coolant, maybe about an inch disappears from the bottle over the course of 5-6 months and my rear main crank seal is starting to leak a tad. It burns\leaks a quart of oil every 3,000 miles and I change my oil every 4,000~ miles. Ran mobile 1 5w-30 for the first 75,000 miles of its life for the most part and then switched to Castrol GTX HM 5w-30 with oversized wix filters for the rest of its life and will continue to do so. I also feed it gumout with PEA in it pretty often as well before oil changes. I changed my transmission fluid at 30,000 and haven't done it since, planning on doing that this weekend. Otherwise my transmission still runs shifts flawlessly and has never missed a beat.

As much as people hate this motor, and rightfully so, I can't say it has ever let me down. And seeing that reman transmission and motors are dirt cheap, I will keep it forever. I always knew I would, but the thing is so cheap to maintain I would hate myself if I ever got rid of it.

Edit: things I have replaced over time

-spark plugs and wires (80k)
-serpentine belt (80k)
- pulley bearing (160k)
-battary x2
-Shocks x2 (60k and 160k)
-Front u joints X1, but had a replacement moog start to go bad 6 months later and drove on it for 6 more.
-Front pads/rotors 3x, last time I upgraded to the mopar bbk.
-back pads/rotors 3x, but the back right caliper got replaced 3 times and ate more pads then I can count. Nothing but issues with that one for some reason.
-tie rod ends X1
-tires x3, originals for 63k and durtrac 275/65/18lt for last 100k, still had lots of tread but basically were 5 years old and going into winter so I replaced them with the same tire but non-LT. The tire is slightly despite being the same size and certainly lighter.
-transmission line recall.

I need to fix both locks in my back doors and the damn door bushings, both on my list after I do the transmission fluid. After that I got some lights out in my switches on the interior like the A/C and window switches. It's only cosmetic and mopar switches are pretty pricy so I'm saving that for last. My front seat is starting to wear a little. Debating what to do there. I might try and scoop up some newer seats down the line in a couple years.

I just had my motor remanufactured after 115k. It was burning 2 quarts in less than 500 miles. They found a spin rod bearing, burnt valve and at least 1 clogged cat.

It's on its way home now for the second time. I had the work done by accurate engines in Grandville MI. What a shit show! They sent it to me first, after 3 weeks. I drove it 10 miles and it developed a major rod knock with low oil pressure at idle after warm up.

They took it back and completely redid the motor again with a new crank. Another 2 weeks I waited and they found the bad cat. Which they should have found from the start! I wait yet another week and it's finally "done" we will
See! These guys have a killer warranty but their communication capabilities have been non existent.

I'm going to give them a chance to make it right. We will see what they are willing to do.

Here she is!

2008 JKUR w/ 107,xxx on the dash. I picked it up earlier this year w/ ~95K on the dash. I think my rear main seal might be leaking slightly, but other than that:
-107K - New Idler/Tensioner Pulleys and belt
-100K- New driver exhaust manifold
-99K - New alternator
-98K - New plugs/wires/distributor

Been running superchips tow tune almost since day 1 that I got it. Just put lift/35s/steel wheels on it at 107K.

Default 2007 86kmiles ownes one month blown engine

purchased used from a dealer in mid november 2017....86k miles after one month and barely driving it as i didnt have time to get it inspected, one morning i drove half a block from my house and the oil light came on...half a block later trying to turn around and go home, the engine shut off ...i left it and had it towed to used car dealer...originally dealer said i must have driven over something and hit the oil pan underneath cuz there was no oil...i said no, didnt run over a thing....then went home and found a puddle of oil in my driveway where jeep was sitting for 3 days....then dealer called a few days latter said there was a defect with the oil filter a(or something like that) and the engine is blown.....i said WHAT? of course i purch as is....but this is a high end used car dealer in business for ove5 15 years which has a mechanic and body shop on sight and they talk the talk.......they are looking for a repurp engine to replace it (at my expense) they will cut their houly rate for me but still...one month? hardly drove it at all? i am afraid to put another 3.8k into this vehicle....i also noticed it shook from side to side the time i drove it before i blew the engine....i thought maybe it was due to 4 wheel drive being on...idk i have two older nissans that have over 100k on them and have never had an issue...i figured this vehicle would be a fun 2nd car to own....what a frickin mistake! i will never buy american again....learned my lesson.....so upset....18k down the drain...
