2010 JKU Sahara, 19K mikes and not a single issue running 5w20 dino oil and cheapest filter every 4-5k miles when the "change oil" light flashes.

I had a 1996 Camry that would eat 1qt of oil between changes. I think it held 3.6qts when full. I traded it in after 9 hard years of driving and it had 225k miles on it without a single engine problem ever.

2011 Sport. Uses a quart every 3k. Regular dino oil changes every 3k and decent filters. Just started using 5-30 so we can see if that helps.

60,000KMs on my 2008 JKU, auto.

On my second oil consumption test, working on proving to my dealer it uses ALMOST 1 litre per 1609 kms, or 1 qt per 1000 miles. Its soooooo close. PCV has been changed, running 5W20, playing within the rules while covered under warranty.

The motor itself runs so smooth, no knocking, just purs, wonderfull!!! Very light ping under lug in OD. Performence and MPG remain constant.

Had my rear carrier LSD replaced at 35,000KM warranty, clutch's would skip.

Other than that very reliable, solid vehical. Love my Jeep, will buy another for sure.

Just hope my dealer gets this oil issue under control.
