Today, I started to hear a popping noise coming from my gas pedal within a couple seconds of letting off my clutch. I can feel it popping and am not sure what caused it to start. It happens each time I shift a gear and occasionally if I let off the gas and then accelerate again. Anyone else have a similar problem or suggestions on what it could be? The dealerships are pretty useless.

Funny thing is today, I didn't feel or hear it. Odd...

 

I hear a clanking noise when I let up on the clutch and give it gas. This is more evident when I let up the clutch quickly. it sounds like a metal to metal sound that clanks like its smacking on a spring... Is this similar to what you guys are describing?

Anyone know if this is normal?

 

I'm having this problem as well. Coming from the Gas pedal pivot mechanism. Any ideas on a fix? And I'm out of warranty.
