OK guys here is the problem. For about the last month I have had this happen 6-7 times while driven in 4th and once in 5th. Every time it has popped out was when hitting a bump in the road. I can't get it to repeat it if I try, even going over a very rough railroad track in 4th didn't do it. It has happened both under acceleration and with the foot completely off the accelerator. The stick has always danced around a lot, especially when going over bumps but has never popped out until about a month ago. I know about 1st gear popping out when cold and mine does it sometimes when it gets really cold but once it warms up it stops. When it comes out of 4th and 5th it's not really popping out like 1st gear, it just seems to come out of gear from shaking around. Could this be the inner boot or the tranny tower clutch shifter assembly causing this.
