Default power door lock switch doesn't work

The front passenger door power lock switch doesn't work. It unlocks with the key fob just fine, so I know the actual actuator is working. But, the switch on the door doesn't work. I checked the plug and it appears to be fine. I asked my wife about it and she said she doesn't think she's ever even used it, so I have no way of knowing if it's ever worked.

Has anyone else had this problem? I really don't want to take it to the dealer.

Haven't had the problem but if the actuator is working then it must be the switch or its wiring.

My guess is the switch is bad or simply disconnected.

You can pull the panel and check the wiring for the switch itself.

You could disconnect the battery for a few just to see if the electronics have a gremlin. I doubt it but its something to try.

You may have better luck posting in the "Electrical" sub-forum. Good luck.

I'd pull the door panel and take a look at the switch. If the fob works, it seems like there is a problem in the physical switch itself.
