So I got under the Jeep today to retorque the suspension after my lift and I didn't see much of anything. I have no clue what would've caused it to leak like crazy in a matter of 18 hours but then after another 24 hours, it doesn't do hardly anything. I pulled the air box off to get a closer look at the pump itself and it looks as clean as it could be (means it needs more wheeling), no leaking down the block or around the pump. Where the high pressure line connects into the pump there was some built up gunk so I wiped everything clean and am going to keep an eye on it. I wouldn't be surprised if the O-ring on the high pressure line isn't toast. If it leaks again, that'll be step one, I have a set of O-rings in a drawer to replace it with.

Also, the fluid level is at min when cold, but I figured with some heat and expansion, it would come close to hitting the max line, and it did. So for now, its just a waiting game.

However I did find a leak on the end of the axle where it connects to the yoke. Time for more research....

Thanks for the suggestions, hopefully it was just a fluke. I can be hopeful right?

common for the fluid to overheat and overflow out of the reservoir.....I can think of at least 5 occurrences of this happening while wheeling with guys in our club over the past 6 months. I have since added an in line heat sink cooler and it has helped lots. I am on my third pump btw

the oil you see at the bottom of your axle C's is diff fluid and is a sign your inner seals are leaking....( not the most fun job but just takes time. )

Take a look at the reservoir itself as well, I just started noticing a few drops here and there under mine in that same area and it turns out that my reservoir is leaking where the two halves are plastic-welded together... I was scratching my head for a while trying to find it and then I filled the reservoir back up and there it was, wet all the way around the seam... it's $25 from that Q place and won't take a lot of work to change out.
