I was doing the blinker mod and saw what looks to be an additional cooler attached to the Radiator. Is this powersteering? Or did Jeep finally start including a transmission cooler? It's in front of the radiatior.

That should be the A/C condenser.

Thanks - I was hoping they might have thrown in a transmission cooler, I will install one myself.

Your Jeep does have a transmission cooler. Look at the bottom of the radiator and you can follow the lines coming from and going to the cooler/transmission.

That's the A/C receiver drier.

From the factory service manual:
The A/C receiver/drier stores unnecessary refrigerant, filters the refrigerant, helps remove moisture from the refrigerant and retains any refrigerant vapor that may leave the A/C condenser until it becomes a liquid. The A/C receiver/drier is installed on the high-side of the A/C system and is connected directly to the right end of the A/C condenser by a bolt. The A/C receiver/drier can be serviced separately from the A/C condenser.

People here have said here previously that their JK has the A/C condenser fitted , even though they don't have factory A/C. So does this mean that it comes as a unit with the radiator, or is it detatchable?

Would kinda suck if you had to replace the radiator & find yourself having to disconnect & then re-gas the A/C too!

I'm. Curious if this is peoples opinion or if in fact t we know that the big black radiator is not for the tranny. The reason I say is that I followed the two inlet lines and the go directly to my tranny.
It is my speculation that this is indeed a factory automatic transmission cooler.

Does everyone have one of these?

The pic is looking through the grill at the bottom right of the radiator.

That looks just like my '08 - the top part above where the transmission lines come in is the A/C condenser. The bottom 4" or so is the transmission cooler. All autos have a transmission cooler, though I don't know how that works if you don't have A/C - is that even an option? No matter. 4" of transmission cooler isn't enough to keep up with the heat generated in the tranny. That's why you either get an auxiliary transmission cooler to add to it, or pay attention to the "Hot Oil" idiot light.
