Default Problem with power window going up

Just bought a 10 Rubi 2dr Hardtop. The first day I had it and needed to roll the window down it did so fine, but when its cold, it is very slow going up. Sometimes just stops mid way. If it goes, it sounds like it struggles. The passenger side meanwhile rips up and down with no problems. I took it to the dealer the day after purchase and they greased the channels. I took it home and the next morning in the cold, same thing. Took it back a couple days later and they replaced the entire regulator motor. Still not working. Im getting sick of not driving this thing. I need this truck for my daily transportation and while they give me a loaner, I want to enjoy my new truck.

Anyone have similar experiences? Advice?

#1: Welcome to the Forum

#2: Congrats; because you wrote "truck" (and not "car")

#3: This is definitely not normal. I never had problems with the power windows, even at minus 25 deg Celsius. Go to another local dealer.

I had a weird issue a couple weeks ago...happened only once and not since then. The window wouldn't roll down...wasn't frozen b/c the motor wasn't trying. Driver side wouldn't either. I restarted the Jeep and it worked fine after that.

Looks to me like the felt strips are too close on the drivers compared to the passengers. I dont know if the problem is the felt strips or the metal opening for the window. Taking it back to dealer next week. They seem to be cooperative in getting this taken care of.
