Default Problems

So I have a couple problems I'm wondering about. I have a 12 jk sport. First one I'm sure it has to go back to the dealer for, every time I pull into 6th it grinds in, and it pops out of 4th. Second thing is my drivers side air vent seems to always blow colder air then the rest of the vents any easy fix for this?

Yeah the heater door problem has come up on this site a lot !!!!! wtf why so many issues with the engine...heater and shifting? There were also threads on the stick popping in 4th.....I know all auto companies have issues but I don't think they changed the heat ducting on the Jeep so what gives...check the threads M, others have had this issue and it should probably be a TSB if it isn't already. Sorry bro ...I have a 12 and I wince every time someone brings up another issue...I either don't have them or am being ignorant to the fact ...because I don't want to have to bring My truck into the stealership. All I can say is its a shame jeeps are built by the worst auto manufacturer out there. Chrysler should just go out of business and Ford buy the jeep nameplate

I'm with napamat87. however my 2008 JKUR's heater has had no issues and blows very hard. If you leave it on long enough , it will melt the skin right off your face !

By the way , Fords probably should NOT buy the JEEP brand , every company that has owned Jeep has gone out of business !

Really Fix Or Repair Daily? I don't think so. Do not even get me started with Ford, not a place you want to go. 5 of the last 7 cars I have owned have been Dodge or Jeep products and I will take them over Ford or Chevy products anytime.

This not because of Jeep issues. It is usually paradigm issues within the company that already existed. The parent company always seems to forget the hardcore offroad constituency that buys Jeeps regardless of options and basically want a kick-ass, off-road capable vehicle. NOT a yuppie hauler, or baby wagon. If it can do double duty then fine but in reality the people that keep Jeep in business are the offroaders, and they should try to keep that in mind.

I agree Ford would make a better product and be more open to a diesel option, if Chrysler didn't have cummins they would have never survived past 2009

Which Ford owns a percentage of cummins.....ford didn't take bailout money..didn't need to. Reason Chrysler was in trouble was poor quality . Ford vehicles sell more than anything else on the road...
