Default Purpose of body mount bolts?

What do they other than hold rock rails? Attach body to the frame?

All four of mine were loose and after tightening them the ride seems to have improved. Does that makes sense?

Looks like I'm adding these to bolts that need regular torquing.

They hold the body to the frame. Def don't want those backing out.

The jeep was making a creaking noise when turning the wheel lock to lock and also felt rough over bumps and was swaying a lot.

Where are the other ones exactly?
