Default Quadratec maps

Hey everyone,

I bought these mats almost 2 years ago (2yrs in july) and was wondering if you guys had this problem with
them or not. I'm going to e-mail Quadratec and see what they can do because it is happening on both drivers
and passengers side and on the drivers side it curls in right behind you gas peddle foot.

Let me know if there is a way of reversing this or i just got a bad batch.

Mine are the same way. From what I've read it is the rubber compound they used at the time. They have since reformulated and redesigned. I plan to replace with weathertech at some point unless there is a good way to counteract. Almost as much crap under them as in them.

Ya they are pretty much useless so i sent in an e-mail, i'll let u know how it goes and what happens. It's more of a safety thing anyways because of where it is curling on the drivers side by the gas peddle. But we will see.

Mine do that too, not as bad though

Keep us posted as to what they say since they're supposed to have a lifetime warranty

Just curious if either if you tried taking a heat gun to it to try and bend it the other way...my guess is that its curling because of the floor heater vents pounding it with heat, our you could try some sticky back Velcro (the plastic side, not the hairy side) and see if it sticks to the carpet?

If quadratec doesnt want to do anything id try this. They become very flexible when they are warm. If you dont have a heat gun just use a blow dryer. It'll be fixed in a jiffy!

Tried a few months back heating and holding with a bungee to pull them apart but they wouldn't take. Hair dryer couldn't put out enough heat is my guess. No access to a heat gun. The Velcro idea is a good one though.

So i e-mail quadratec feb 26 and got an e-mail back saying they would look at the situation and needed some more
information feb 28. Sent them back everything 10 minutes later giving them the information. I sent them another
e-mail today just to make sure there was no confusion as well as nothing was lost or looked over because i know
that happens sometimes.

I will keep you updated once i know more.

To be honest if you pay 60 bucks + shipping you shouldnt have to change the product and when the product has a lifetime
warranty, stand behind it or dont give it one. Not bashing on quadratec because i dont know how they will handle this
problem.

That sucks. I've had mine for about 4 years and they're still the exact same shape as when I put them in. They've been working great for me. Hopefully your issue gets taken care off. I got a bad batch of seat covers from there once. I was sent new ones free of charge and they have been perfect.
