also, remember that Toyota has had very good success with their Pre-Runner setups. 2wd Tacomas with the rear Diff Lock.

2wd rigs are good offroad, it is just that they are not as good with extreme or complicated terrain. They have their place offroad.

 

i had an old '79 dodge custom 100 that i would take out in the sand pits and beat the crap out of all the time. i've taken my jeep places that behemoth could never go, but i was still "off-road"
