Question about Mopar Tail Lamp Guards..
Okay so I picked up a set of the black MOPAR tail lamp guards. They come with four screws. So I followed the directions (is it me or are MOPAR instructions the most confusing thing in the world?) Anyway according to the directions it appears you are supposed to remove all four screw from both tail lamps and then replace the two screws that are closest to the spare tire with the screws that come with the guards. You are then supposed to put the two screws on the outside of each taillamp back in. Only problem is, with the guards on these screws don't tighten down all the way and are very loose. Its almost like they aren't long enough now with the tail light guards on. However the set only comes with four screws total, not eight so there are no way to replace these screws. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone who has installed these have any advice?
Isn't it kind of pathetic that ony two of the screws really hold the light to the body? The rest are just to hold the guard and lens on to the light box. Cheapo. (Not the guards, they're expensivo...)

No...you got it right....expensive, but real cheapo caca...must have been made for Rugged Ridge in Borneo.
BTW, what are the cost of those. I think they would look good on the wifes black JK, and it seems looks are all it's about, cause a good hit into a tree and I would think you'd not only tear up the guards but also destroy the tail light.
But if the cost is not much, I may get a set.
