So if i fail to rotate my tires, I'll trash them sooner? GOOD............gotta figure out a way to get rid of these station wagon tires and get something more aggressive without pi$$ing off the wife. Maybe I should air them down for street driving too? Any other ideas, or would someone like to come by my house and slash the stock tires?

I'm in the same boat - told the wife that I really want a lift, but that the Jeep would look weird without new tires as well... and she was quick to point out that there's no justification for throwing out perfectly good tires and dumping hundreds into new tires just for looks... so I may have to wait a couple years for my goodies.

Thanks for the replies. My wife goes wheeling with me, so the day after we got the jeep we went out on some trails and I showed her how far we could go, and how it wouldn't hardly clear some roots, rocks, and stumps. Told her we could make it all the way around with a lift and some bigger tires. She even went and bought my tires for me while I was working out of town and had them ready to go on when I got home.
