Actually its called LEARNING. Sorry that I picked up a new hobby and came on a Jeep message board called PROJECT JK to ask about working on Jeeps.

Some of like us like to learn new things and learn the reason why things work the way they do or why certain procedures should be followed or not.

This site has been invaluable considering before my Jeep I never so much as did an oil change or rotate tires.

I don't understand the point of the sarcasm. If you don't want to help thats cool but why why post something negative at all? I don't see how my questions should affect you at all. Plenty of other posts to move on to.

Anyway, for those that did answer with some intelligent info, thanks!

I think I got everything torqued to spec now. It amazing how things can work themselves loose after a few wheeling trips.

Well damn man, first you ask about torquing, get some GOOD responses and then you say.......

"Couldn't loosening the bolt and retightening it cause the bolt to not hold torque anymore, also if I did this I would have to use a new lock nut every time, no?".......

I mean....it's almost like when someone gives you a response on something, you immediately go into "arguement" or "prove it to me" mode. You've been on here long enough to know who will give you good answers. I would think you'd just kinda shut up and do it.
