Default Question on the blinkers of 2012 JKU

The manual says that if you move the blinker arm just to the point to where it is going to catch and let go it will blink 3 times and stop ( changing lane feature ).

Sometimes mine works and then will quit working for the day????

Anyone else had this happen or am I doing something wrong?

You may not be engaging it all the way. I've done it on my 11 many times.

No problems with my 10. Just tap it up or down and let it go.

Can't wait for mine to arrive(was shipped today!)... And this horrible "feature" is one of them. I hate it when I accidentally hit the blinker and in response hit it again to "turn it off".. Cuz then it blinks 3 times for each side in order. Ugh.

I traded my '06 Corvette in on my jeep (my third jeep in 10 years) and it had the same feature which I loved. I say that to indicate I am not a stranger to the feature and was excited to learn the JK came with it.

But as I mentioned in my original post it seems to be like my wife and only does what I want it/her to do when it feels like it.

If you hold it for more then half a second or so it over-rides the 3 blinker and will simply shut off when you allow it back into place. You need to do it rather quick and let go.
