Default Question regarding install of hard top wire harness

I have an 09 JK unlimited X that came with a factory soft top. I just purchased a hard top. My question is this, can I install the Mopar wiring kit for the hard top (defroster, rear washer wiper) without having to splice any wires. In other words is it a true plug and play installation? I posted this in the electrical section two weeks ago and received no replies.
thanks,
John

did a search and came up with these links to past threads on your topic. The second link has a harness part number. google that and you may come up with a factory set of install instructions. The third link has a supplier listed that carries the install kit, perhaps they have install instructions that will answer your questions and concerns. Good luck

I installed the wiring my self. You wont be cutting wires but you will be removing some wires from conectors, in the fuse box, behind the dash. Not very hard but it took half a day to do. And then some of it is very much plug and play, but to make the defrost work you will need to have it flashed and I think thats about it.
