Default Quick question about back window on my JK

Does anybody have any ideas I can steal as to how to get the zipper on my back window to close easier. It starts out smooth until I get to the upper right hand side then it is hard as heck to zip. Any ideas of what I could use on it that won't harm it would be appreciated.

Default Quick question about back window on my JK

Chapstick (clear) on the actual teeth of the zipper helped mine. And I also have one of the little plastic and string pulls from a backpack on there. Helps gripping it.

Make sure the little flap on the inside of the soft top isn't getting caught in the zipper. Also, try pulling down on the rear soft top support bar as you are zipping the window. Don't have to pull it down much. Just enough to give you a little more slack. I added a small carabiner to the loop of the zipper pull to make it easier to grab.

Hope one of these helps!

Bee's wax. If you can't get bee's wax and have a scuba shop nearby, get your self some dry suit zipper wax.

You might have the window too far to the left where it slides onto the bottom bar. After I get mine halfway closed at the top, I slide the bottom as far right as I can and it seems to help. This way the zippers teeth are closer together.

In addtion to centering the bar, pulling the top bar a bit, I use soap. When I put it on for the first time this summer while it was sitting in the storage, I used saop... worked good.

I did not think about divers zipper wax. I need to look into that. There is a shop right next to me.

Before applying the dry suit zipper wax, clean the teeth with a toothbrush, then apply the wax. It makes a world of a difference.

I'll second that, mine used to be horrible until I realized I was pulling the window all the way to the left to start the zipper. Now, after I start the zipper I tug the window back to the right.
