Default Quick question under the hood of a 2010 jku

I just got my jeep back from the body shop, I have a quick question... Should there be done sort of an insulating blanket type thing on the underside of the hood? I open the hood almost every fill up, but I don't remember if it is missing anything. I am concerned because they didn't quite put the grill on right, the jeep letters were unevenly spaced and they forgot to reattach the ground strap to the hood.

Thanks.

Some JKs came from the factory with the sound insulation, and some didn't.

Hmmm... If I call the dealer that sold it to me and have them my vin, I wonder if they could tell me if I had one. I don't think I did. Do you know if certain trim levels would get the insulation?

Mine came with the hood sound insulation. It's coded on the build sheet as "HGA: Hood Insulation".

The code may have changed by 2010.

I recently bought two 2011 jeeps. One for me and one for my son. Mine is black and came with the hood insulation. My son's is white and didn't come with the insulation. Go figure....
