Has anyone ever had a bad rattle inside the tailgate? It is coming from inside the tailgate near the hinges.

 

I had something similar, but mine was coming from the latching side, it went away on its own sorry no help

 

I had a bad rattle in the rear hatch right after I bought my Jeep. It was bad enough to make you want to lose your mind. The dealership had it for two full days before they finally figured it out. They pulled the rear bumper, spare, lubed the seals, and several other things. Finally they added tension to the arms for the rear glass and it fixed it.

That was about 5k miles ago and no problems since.
