Default Rear blowout - wheel well plastic

I had a blowout on my right rear of my JK 4 door the other day. Apparently a piece of metal or a bolt punctured the tire and then flew up and put a fist sized hole in the black plastic wheel well liner.

I've looked on line and can't find this part. It looks like it should just be an easy fix to unscrew and put in a new one. Anyone know where I can find this part?

Thanks,
Barry

OEM Catalog - 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Item Number: 55157126AD, SHIELD SPLASH - REAR RIGHT

MSRP: $66.35

You should be able to get this for around $40 online or with full discount at your local retailer.

btw, the rear left is 55157127AD

You can easily replace this yourself. What you will also need is a plastic rivet gun and a pack of plastic rivets and maybe a pack of fender clips. There is another thread somewhere that shows the best place to get these as the dealer charges way too much.

Just Google "JK Aftermarket Fender Clips" and you will find the an online source for these clips.

Another option is to remove it and coat the metal with the liner or underbody protection of your choice. It is less expensive and looks better than a piece of plastic IMO.

Maybe someone who did the fender trim will post up

I gave one of my rear liners to a local guy that had the same issue.
(The other one got recycled)
