So far, these Wagners are dead quiet. Maybe they're onto something with the thickly coated, integrated shims on the back side of the pads. I'm pleased.

Default Rear pads

OK so I only use my 08 X as a DD. After all the buzz on rear pads wearing down at 20, 25 and 30k I thought I'd better check them b4 winter. I have 23.5k and the pads are just about as thick as the pad metal base plate, about .25 in. If they were .5 or .6 thick when new then they are about half worn.

Default Squeek...squeek...squeek

I have 17k miles and have had the squeek when I just lightly press the pedal. Sounds like right rear. I've only stuck my head under and it looks like I have plenty of pad left.
I was afraid I bent something cause it goes" squeek..squeek...squeek...squeek".
Does that mean I should just swap out my pads?

I would at least pull the caliper and remove the pads to inspect... check for disintegrating shims like I observed on my factory pads.

Eek.

Well, if my squeak comes back, I'll pull the wheel, spacer and rotor and put a dial indicator on the flange to see how much runout I've got. A tweaked flange can result in a squeak like this too.
