If it doesnt then you got ripped off. All JKs have them. He is talking about the plastic covers on the rear door hinges.

Open the rear door all the way, stand behind the jeep facing the interior side of the back door which is still open. All the way to left, just past the edge of the rear door you will be able to see the back side of the hinges. There will be two little plastic tabs sticking through the metal part of the hinge, squeeze them together and push them through the holes they're clipped into. Now walk around the other side of the back door (you should now be facing the side with the spare tire on it. When you look at the hinges you'll see they're slightly popped off, pull the popped out side a bit more until its free, then wiggle the entire plastic cap toward the driver side until it is entirely removed.... reverse entire process to put them back on.

Are you talking about the hardtop rear glass hatch hinge covers?

Default Thanks yellowjeeper85

I've got it. Sprayed some silicone on the plastic to stop a squeak without considering it might discolor it. Sure enough, it did. Now I have to either replace them or try some sort of paint.

By the way, mine is a 2dr black rubi hardtop auto.

Thanks again
