I need the width of the square tubing at the rear of an '07, 08, and '09 JK. This is the frame brace that the stock hitch bolts through. Please use a caliper if you have one and let me know whether or not the measuement was taken with a caliper. It is going to be very close to 3". Example below.

I was out running errands so I stopped at a dealer and measured a few. They are all the same across the years.

Now Monday morning I get to contact Smittybilt and tell them there is a flaw in the bumper.
