There was no need to put in any additive for the locker.

Is the light on steady? Or is it flashing?

If you are sure the locker is not engaged, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If it's a computer glitch, that may reboot it.

Possibly knicked or pinched the wires for the position sensor?

So a possible trouble shooting measure. Unplug the large plug on the differential. That's the sensor plug. If the light stays on then you have a short in the sensor circuit or the computer is giving you ghost info. Unhook the better for a few minutes. If the light is still on after hooking the battery back up then start looking for a spot where the sensor wire is grounding.
