Default Rear Seat Removal

I'm thinking of removing my rear seat for a trip, wanting more room for luggage and still being able to recline the passenger seat. I have a JK. Is it difficult or time consuming to remove the seat?? I ask this because the outside temps hover around zero to 10 above, and I don't have a heated garage.

Takes seconds to remove.

Tilt, disconnect, jimmy out.

It's easy and not time consuming at all. Hit the button in the middle of the seat for it to fold all the way down and against the front seats. Grab the bar on the floor and squeeze it, hold, lift the seat back towards you. Once you've got it unclipped then rotate the seat to pull it out perpendicular to the installed position.

It is a little bulky/ awkward to move but is only 70lbs. I grab it by the metal pieces by where the hinge point is on the outside edges.

ALL DONE !!!!! Thanks for the info, guys. It took all of three or four minutes. The toughest part was unzipping and rezipping the rear window. Now my wife can take her bigger suitcase with her. She's happy!!:

Me too!!

You have to unbolt the entire bench. It's a major PITA.
