Default Rear storage cover removal

I was cleaning out hundreds of little twigs and leaves that fell into the back of my JK after wheeling in the Pine Barrens last week.

I thought it might be easier to just remove the carpet in the back (the back seat is out) but it looks like you have to remove the cover of the storage cubby to get the carpet out. I didn't want to start prying on anything until someone tells me what's what.

So, how do you remove the cover?

It isn't really attached to anything. It just slides in place from the rear. So unlatch it and pull a little.

And once you've removed it, finish the job by tossing it in the trash when you replace it with the locking Tuffy Security cubby door.
