I think you are pretty fired up about windshield wipers... I live in an area where bugs are a real issue and no they don't get on the back glass, but the cheap blades don't last nearly as long or work as well for removing anything off the glass.

I used the forum rep from quadratec to order and got a small discount as well as free shipping. Five anco blades effectiveness wouldn't last nearly as long.

I bought a 13" Bosch replacement and made it work. After prying the new blade out of the arm, I had to trim it down about 1/4" before I could pop it into the Jeep wiper blade housing.

Ok, after reading this thread somewhat carefully, I took the old wiper blade off. In doing so I heard something kinda fall out of the car. Now I am trying to connect the new wiper on and its not clicking in. What am I missing???? I cant seem to locate the missing piece that fell off. The original arm on the jeep seems to be ok.... SO I am for a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As of now the wiper blade is just attached to the arm and its not locked in....

If the arm is broken, the replacement runs about $50. Part # 68002490AB

See this blog link below, see photos 4 and 5 for how to pop off the blade and a shot of the end of the arm the blade pops into. Is that what you broke? The link between the arm and blade? If so, you'll need a new arm.

(BTW, it's not my blog, I don't know who's it is)

Edit: same link as post 19!!
