On the fender flares there are what appear to be reflectors but when I looked they have wiring? What is that for?

Never noticed that, thanks! So it's not a big deal if I cut it with my fender flares then

 

Not sure on the legalities in your location, however i know in mine (Nova Scotia) they are required so in the event i wished to trim my fenders, i would need to relocate the marker lights. I know there are some kits you can get online to relocate the stock ones i believe, or replace them entirely.

 

I saw a guy on YouTube chop his fenders. A complete how to video step by step. He took the inter sidemarker assembly out of the fender drilled some holes in top lefthand side of the inner fender well and zip tied them in looks great. Even if you dont have to have them in your state
