Remote Start Range
I second this. I can start my Jeep from 13 floors up in my office as long as I can see it (line of sight)...if the battery is good in the remote. I also agree with whoever it was that posted about the RF being blocked by cars. Sometimes it won't work if I am ground level and there are a lot of cars between me and where it is parked.
I wish there were a feature that would auto-start the Jeep if a crack head walks too close to it. We have all sorts of those behind my office building at the Greyhound bus terminal.

Haha, x2. I'd happily pay extra for that feature.
I have the factory remote start in my 11 JKU Sahara. It works pretty good, but not great. The battery is new in it and at ground level it is easily upset by anything between me and the Jeep. I won't estimate distances because that has too many variables. It is nice to have and definitely better than no remote start at all, but it isn't awesome. The 2 way FM remote start in my 2006 Liberty Renegade was "awesome". Unreal range, didn't care about glass, metal, which way you were facing etc etc. I forget the name of the manufacturer, but when I bought that Liberty the dealer installed it. They would not install the Mopar unit at that time, too many problems.
I can start mine from anywhere inside my house. Can usually start it about three rows away in a crowded parking lot. She'll usually start when walking out from work even if she is up on the 3rd floor of the parking garage.
