Default Remote Starting problems.....PLEASE HELP!!!

I have on 08 JK sahara with remote start, which worked fine when i bought it but now it wont start the jeep. When it did work the horn would honk twice then start, now it honks once and nothing. Ive tried repositioning my door strike plates thinkin maybe it thought the doors or door was orpen but stil nothing. My wife and I are getting ready to move up north so i would really like to get this fixed ASAP. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks.

check to make sure the hood and rear gate are all closed properly. not sure if there is a pressure switch for the hood or what but if the doors are ok then might be the hood? do any recent modifications?

All doors are closing properly, as far as the hood I removed the spring so it would quit jumping up and down while driving down the highway. But the remote start had quit working befor that. Do any of you guys know where the damn thing is located under the hood? As far as engine codes, not to my knowlage...no check engine lights or anything like that.
