Default Removal of passenger seat

I have a week long solo camping trip planned and would like to remove the front passenger seat on my 2dr so I can bring more gear. Is this easy to do?

The computer gets really pissed off when you unplug the airbag sensor that is in the seat

I didn't know that do you have side airbags?

Well its pretty easy, you just from the rear lift up that bar then the whole seat should fold and tumble forward, getting it back in is a little annoying but not to bad, it's a lot easier to put the rear seat back in with the top down so you can stand in the "bed" when you put it back.

I don't think I have side airbags or at least see any panels in the door. Its a 2009 2dr Sahara.

If you mean the front passenger seat, it's straighforward. The bolts are really tight or have thread lock on them. As I remember you can use a socket on 2 or 3 but need a good wrench for one or 2. Getting leverage is a PITA

What he was referring to as far as the airbags go is the passenger airbag in the dash. If you unplug the seat weight sensor in the passenger seat, the airbag fault light will come on in your dash and stay on till you reconnect it and get the dealership to reflash the computer. If you don't have a weight sensor installed on your passenger seat, then it's just the four really tight bolts you need to take off.
