Took all the badges and stickers off my 2012 and my buddies 2007 last weekend and had no problems with paint fade or anything. Also just try to peel the stickers off without heat at first. Even worked on the 07 steel blue! But use the drier and fishing line for the badge for sure. I used Gibbs and an old t-shirt and all the leftover crap came off very easily. Hope this helps..

The stickers, that's one thing. But the idea of taking off the Jeep badge seems like defacing your rig. That's our crest. Painting it for aesthetics is completely fine and sometimes when done right looks way better than the chrome. But nah, I would never remove mine.

I took the Jeep logo off the front of my 11' JKU Rubi. within a few weeks of getting it; it looks much better w/o that logo.
Whoever was the rocket scientist that installed that logo on my Jeep marked the locations with a utility knife before they put them on; I have a few permanent cuts where a few of the letters were. Thanks Jeep! All the more reason to take those letters off.

I do the fishing line thing in direct sun (or hair dryer), then WD40, then wax it.

All of the vehicles I own have been debadged and it is a personal preference for me.

I can't include my first monster cherokee, bec all the pics are muddy lol, but heres my other old Cherokee, old WRX, and my current JK.

I used a scratch remover, which took the adhesive lines out of the clear coat.

Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0.

I agree take whatever "stickers" you feel off but leave the JEEP logo's on!
